Bolts Gear

I just had to post this outfit on the net, since it is near and dear to daddy.   Football season will be that much more fun with my kids helping me cheer on the Bolts.

 

New data

Well we had another Doctors appointment today.  It has been a little over 2 weeks that we have had any official updates.  So here is the long awaited info:

Cody (taking over the lead)

7 lb 4 oz and measuring in at 20 1/2″

Joslyn

6 lb 13 oz and measuring in at 20″

Both children are doing real well, and mom looks like she was never pregnant.  Dad is jealous of mom as she has been given instructions to eat an extra 1 to 2 thousand calories. Specifically cheese burgers, malts, & other high calorie foods.

Track Star

Well, since wrestling isn’t working out for Joslyn so well any more, she has decided to try her luck at Track and Field.  Here is a picture of her warming up for the 100 yard dash.  I think she has pretty good form.

Ok, I just have to post this one.  Julie and I tried to take announcement pictures again and ended up with some great wrestling pictures.  Here is Cody’s revenge.  After a disappointing round one, Cody came out on top. Joslyn doesn’t like this quite as well.

Wrestling

As some of you know, one of the many things that I do is advertising for WIN Magazine.  This is a wrestling magazine for High School thru Olympic wrestling.  That being said, this next picture would make the magazine proud.  We were trying to stage a nice photo to start making birth announcements and this is what it turned out to be.  A wrestling match.  

Here Joslyn gets the takedown points.  Cody will need a little more practice.  Although, I don’t know if it is totally fair since we put them in this position to begin with.  I’ll call it a tie.

Here we are in our Sunday best.  We had our first trip to church as a family since Cody and Joslyn arrived.

Conversations with Joslyn

In an effort to be fair to both of my children, I thought I would share a very similar conversation that I recently had with my daughter Joslyn.

Daddy – Hey Joslyn, you have been awake for a long time.  What’s on your mind?

Joslyn – Well . . . . . I guess I am thinking about my favorite subject. FOOD

Daddy – Will a pacifier work for the time being?

Joslyn – Are you crazy, I know the difference.  Don’t you remember, food is my favorite subject.  I will not be fooled by an imitation.

Daddy – Well then, shall I warm up a bottle, or do you want your mother?

Joslyn – I don’t care, I just want MILK RIGHT NOW!!

 

Daddy’s thoughts – “I shouldn’t have said anything in the first place.  She was so cute and calm a minute ago.”
